Sunday gang get EGG-cited!

Over the Last two Sundays the Sunday gang were making Easter gardens telling the story of Jesus during holy week.

In each garden was a different part of the story telling you what was happening. We were split into groups with an adult to help us design the gardens. In the gardens we used:

Soil, plants, sand, gravel, moss, cockerels, twigs, play mobil and Lego.

The adults that were helping us were the following:

Nichola, Steve, Nicola and Shirley.

I worked on the garden of Gethsemane with Abby, Northy and James it took us ages to finish it because we included a pond, Jesus being arrested by some roman soldiers and Judas with 30 silver coins, also we included trees, bushes and a sand path.

The other gardens were:

Jesus riding into Jerusalem.

The last supper.

Peter denying Jesus 3 times.

The crucifixion.

The empty tomb.

My favourite garden has to be the garden of Gethsemane as it is full of detail.

Pat Weller a member of the congregation said that the gardens look beautiful and full of detail.

The gardens are located in the church on the window ledges so that visitors can also admire them as well as we can. They will not be there for long so be shore to have a look.
